In the proposed approach, firstly the power delivered to load impedance before inserting the matching network is calculated. Then the desired power delivered to the load impedance after inserting the matching network is defined. Based on these power values, desired power loss ratio is calculated. Then power loss ratio is calculated in terms of input reflection coefficient, which is written by means of generator impedance and input impedance of the matching network when the load impedance is connected to output port. Finally initialized free parameters are optimized until the power loss ratio of the matching network is equal to the desired power loss ratio. Proposed approach can be used to solve broadband double and single matching problems. Two broadband double matching problems are solved to shown how to use the proposed approach.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessBroadband communicationBroadband matchingGeneratorsImpedanceinsertion lossladder networkslossless networksLow-pass filtersMatched filtersOptimizationpower loss ratioReflection coefficientSolution of Lossless Broadband Matching Problems via Insertion Loss MethodArticleWOS:00069885790001310.1109/TCSII.2021.30738752-s2.0-85104598726Q2N/A
