    Monty Python Mizahının Dinamikleriyle Türkiye'de Skeç Programı Üretme Olanaklarının Araştırılması ve Bir Uygulama

    The purpose of this thesis is to distinguish how the comedy techniques used by the comedy troupe Monty Python can be applied to the comedy in Turkey. The work of Monty Python is analysed in light of humour theories and comedy writing techniques. The components that form their approach to humour is studied, along with examples of Turkey's use of similar components in the past. Both Monty Python's and Turkey's application of the identified components are compared, in order to write a screenplay in the style of Monty Python, for the audience in Turkey. This work includes, the process of intersecting both Turkey's and Python's approach to comedy, the execution of the screenplay, formatted as a sketch comedy show and suggestions for a marketing approach for the project to be appealing to the comedy audience in Turkey.
