Abstract
Bu tez de Türkiye ile İsrail devletleri arasindaki iliski Filistin meselesi uzerinden analiz edilmeye calisildi. oncelikli olarak Filistin meselesinin baslangici irdelenerek sorunun kaynagina inilip daha sonra Türkiye'nin Ortadogu politikasi uzerinden Filistin Sorununun İsrail ile iliskilerine etkilerini inceledik.
In this thesis, the aim is to analyze the relationship between Turkey and Israel concerning the Palestinian issue. First of all, the very beginning of Palestinian issue will be scrutinized and Israel and Turkish relations will be examined from Turkish policies over Middle East and Palestinian issue points of view.Palestinian issue has become the most problematic issue in global arena with end of World War II and the establishment of the state of Israel. Instead of the fact that powerful states intervene, Palestinian issue cannot be solved, and this situation demonstrates the complexity of this issue.Israel, which was founded by the support of USA and USSR which were trying to have hegemonic power over the area after World War II although all the states in the Middle East were against the idea, has developed its relations with Turkey thanks to its democratic structure, strategical and technological power. Turkey has long stayed abstaining in its relations with Israel and states in the region because of the cultural and geographical proximity which resulted form the historical heritage.The obligations international conjuncture and Israel's gaining power in the region takes over as an important factor in the development of the relations between Turkey and Israel. The two countries' taking place in the opposite blocks in the time of Cold War after the World War II and the changing conjuncture after the Cold War are important factors in the reproachment of the two countries. The most important problem between these two countries, which have developed their relations in military, technical, commercial and economic aspects, is Palestinian Issue. The Muslim identity of Turkish society and Israel's being in conflict with the Muslim societies in the region affects the forming of Israel- Turkey relations.
