Abstract

Bu tez Gezi Direnisi’nin toplumsal ve politik dinamiklerde yarattigi degisimin sinemada karsilik bulup bulmadigina odaklanmistir. Gezi sonrasi sinemada iki temel ayrima gidilebilir: dogrudan Gezi Direnisi’ni belgeleyenler ve Gezi Direnisi etkisinde kalanlar. Belgesel olarak Ben Bir Slogan Buldum: Annem Benim Yanimda (Ayris AlptekinAlbina ozden Fehime Seven Nazli Bulum Sefa Tokgoz 2014) Cennetin Dususu (Ersin Kana 2014) Yeryuzu Askin Yuzu Oluncaya Dek (Reyan Tuvi 2014) filmlerini inceleyecegim ve bu yapimlarin gereken etkiyi yaratip yaratmadigi sorusuna cevap arayacagim.
This thesis focuses on whether the change Gezi protests have brought about in social and political dynamics is reflected in cinema. After the protests, it is reasonable to argue that two types of films can be observed in cinema; movies which document the Gezi protests and movies which were influenced by the protests. With regards to documentaries, I will analyze the movies Annem Benim Yanımda Ben Bir Slogan Buldum: Annem Benim Yanımda (Ayris Alptekin, Albina Özden, Fehime Seven, Nazlı Bulum, Sefa Tokgöz, 2014) , Cennetin Düşüşü (Ersin Kana, 2014), Yeryüzü Aşkın Yüzü Oluncaya Dek (Reyan Tuvi, 2014) and trying to find if they could create the intended impact or not in light of these features.
