Popular Culture Representation on Youtube: an Analysis on Youtube Rewinds

Abstract

My thesis specifically focuses on "Popular Culture Representation on YouTube and the Evolution of the Representation" and to point out Youtube's position when it comes to popular culture, my methodology includes applying a content analysis on all 7 YouTube Rewind videos which are 2010 YouTube Rewind: Year in review", YouTube Rewind: Year in Review 2011", "Rewind YouTube Style 2012", "Youtube Rewind: What does 2013 Say?", "Youtube Rewind: Turn Down for 2014", "YouTube Rewind: Now Watch Me 2015" and "Rewind 2016: The Ultimate 2016 Challenge.", respectively.Bu çalışma özellikle "Youtube'daki Popüler Kültür Temsili ve Bu Temsilin Evrimi"ne yoğunlaşmaktadır.
