Tiyatro Analizi, Eleştirisi ve İncelemesini Yeni Bir Deneme Tekniği Olan Video Deneme ile Yeniden Düşünmek

Abstract

Bu tez, çalışma ve uygulama alanı uzun bir süre sinemayla sınırlı olan video deneme tekniğinin, tiyatro sanatı açısından geçerli ve kullanılabilir bir araç olup olmadığını araştırmaktadır. Şimdiye kadar geleneksel yazılı deneme tekniği çerçevesinde kullanılan inceleme, araştırma, analiz ve karşılaştırma gibi yöntemlerin, görsel-işitsel bir dal olan sinemada yeniden icat edilişinin izlerini sürerek; benzer bir süreci tiyatroyu merkezine alan yazınsal ürünlerin neden yaşamadığını ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır. İlk etapta yine görsel-işitsel, fakat kayıt altına alınamayan, performatif bir sanat dalı olan tiyatronun, bu video tekniklerini nasıl asimile edebileceğini anlamak; bu tekniklerin tiyatroya katkılarının neler olabileceği konularını ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele almak ve ilk tiyatro video deneme örneklerini verebilmek için yol haritaları oluşturmak bu tezin başlıca meseleleridir. This thesis surveys if it is possible to use the technique "video essay" on behalf of theatre, rather than its widely used field of cinema. It tracks down the evolution of the technique from conventional, written essays such as analysis, critics and research on subject matter; and try to understand why it was not the case for theatre studies, to this point. Theatre, as a visual-auditory art form such as cinema, differs as a performative art, which means cannot be recorded or captured in any way. So we've broach the subject on how to find a way to assimilate those existing techniques of video essay, what good is it for theatre and try to create a road map for the first ever existing "Theatre video Essays".
