Abstract
Gunumuzde hizla gelisen teknolojinin ve globallesmenin etkisiyle uluslararasi finansal piyasalar yeniden sekillenmistir.Kuresellesme olgusuyla birlikte 1980 sonrasinda bircok ulkede finansal liberalizasyon sureci yasanmaya baslamistir. Turkiye 24 Ocak 1980 istikrar kararlariyla beraber finansal liberalizasyon surecine dahil olmus ve 1989 yilinda istikrar kararlarinin devami niteliginde olan duzenlemelerle surec icinde hizla yol almaya baslamistir.
Today, international markets are reshaped by the effect of rapidly evolving technology and globalization. With the phenomenon of globalization, there has been the process of financial liberalization in many countries after 1980. Turkey with the decisions of stability 24 January 1980, has been involved in the process of financial liberalization and has begun to take its way in the process with the arrangements that made in 1989.The result of applied liberal policy, globalization in the banking sector has started, arrival of foreign banks has gained momentum in Turkey. Crises that occurred in the 1990s and 2000s, has led to deterioration of the financial structure of the banking system. However, in 2001, "Strong Economy Transition Program" and "Banking Restructuring Program" through the introduction of Turkey's economy and its integration with the world economy; as a result of this; the banking sector has been followed the globalization movements.All of these arrangements, bilateral relations between the EU coming to a better level, as a result of growth trend, foreign banks? interest in Turkey is increasing every day and stil continue.The purpose of this study is to set forth the effects of the foreign investments, which have increased in the banking sector, to the sector and economy.In the first chapter of the thesis, firstly ; The delay of bank system in Ottoman , after the historical improvement of Turkish Bank Sector and lastly the events of bank system between 2001- 2010, have been taken in hand.In the second chapter of the thesis, The beginning of foreign banking in Turkish governments and improvement, foreign banks? reason of choosing the Turkey and Law of order about multi- national bank have been investigated.Final chapter of the thesis; the effects of foreign banks to the macroeconomic system have been taken place
