Bir İletişim Süreci Olarak Beden Teknoloji Etkileşimi

Abstract

Bu projede bedenin teknoloji ile olan etkileşim sürecinde, içinde bulunduğu mekana dair cevaplandırmaya çalıştığı sorular ve cevapları üzerinden nasıl bir iletişim sürecine girdiği, açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu noktadan hareketle bedenin kılavuzluğundan faydalanan teknolojilerin sanatla olan ilişkisine değinilecek ve sanatsal platformda bedenin sınırlarının ne olduğuna dair cevaplar aranmaya çalışılacaktır. Beden teknoloji etkileşimi sonucu ortaya çıkan sanat yapıtlarının yarattığı etkinin; teknolojilerin bedeni geri plana ittiği düşüncesinin aksine, teknolojilerin sanatsal tüketimi söz konusu olduğunda, bedenin ayrıcalıklı ve önemli bir konuma sahip olduğu, sanatsal, kültürel ve bilimsel anlamda farklı üretimlere sebep olması ve yeni araştırmalara yol açması açısıyla ele alınacaktır. Bedenin mekan içerisinde kendi kurallarıyla var olması veya yok olması noktasında, teknoloji bedeni ele geçiren bir sistem olarak değil, derdini anlatmasını sağlayan bir dil, bedene eklenen bir protez olarak ele alınacaktır. Farklı okumalara olanak vermesi düşünülmüş "Performans Sanatçılarından Örnekler" bölümünde beden ve teknolojinin bir arada kullanıldığı projelere ait görseller ve kısa açıklamalar yer alacaktır. Bu tez çalışması süreci teknoloji ile girdiği ilişki sonucu önce yok olan sonra da çok olan bir bedenden yola çıkarak kendi mantığını yaratan bu döngüsel durumu simgeleyen interaktif bir enstalasyonla sonlandırılacaktır.

In this Project questions and answers about the space in which the body and technology interact will be explained. Starting from this point the relationship between the technologies which take advantage of the body's guidance and art will be explored and answers will be seeked about the boundaries of the body in an art platform. Some noticeable influences of the art works which are based on the body and technology interaction will be explored. In the course of the artistic approach, applied to any kind of technology, the body is exceptional and has an important place which can open new ways for research. In this respect, instead of undermining the notion of the body, this thesis will explore technology-based modes of production. When the body exists or disappears in a space through technology, "prosthesis" attached and/or implemented to the body produces its own language without applying a system, conquering the body. In this thesis, there is a section which focuses on the visuals and the short explanations of some projects which include body and technology interaction by performance artists. The end result of this thesis is an interactive installation, symbolized by a cycling logic manifesting situation based on cause and effect relationship of technology with body which simultaneously disappears and multiplies.
