Aksiyonun ortaya çıkışında karakter ve olay örgüsü unsurlarının Çehov'un Ayı adlı oyunu üzerinden incelenmesi

Abstract

Rus yazar Anton Çehov; ülkesinde eserlerini yayımladıktan bir süre sonra fark edilmiş ve alışılagelmemiş tarzıyla, önemli bir döneme damgasını vurmuştur. Çehov Rus Edebiyatına olduğu kadar Dünya Tiyatrosu'na da büyük katkılarda bulunmuş, unutulmaz Martı, İvanov, Üç Kız Kardeş oyunlarını yazmıştır. 1988 yılında yazmış olduğu Ayı adlı kısa oyunu döneminin seyirci alışkanlıklarını sarsmış ancak sonraları çok beğenilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Çehov'un Ayı adlı oyunu üzerinden aksiyonun; dramatik metin unsurlarından karakter ve olay örgüsüyle ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma için Çehov'un seçilmesi elbette tesadüf değildir. Çehov dilinin tüm sadeliğine rağmen etkisi yıllarca devam edecek kuvvette oyunlar yazan, olay örgüsünü ustalıkla işleyen, karakterler arasındaki ilişkileri ince ince örerek metne her yaklaşıldığında sürprizler yaşatan bir yazardır.Bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde metnin unsurları incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise aksiyon konusuna değinilerek karakterin üstün amacı ve istekleri çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde tezin uygulama kısmı olan; Ayı oyunun sahneleme çalışmasının süreci ve sonuçları, başlıkla ilişkilendirilerek anlatılmıştır. Tez çalışmasında; yönetmenin sahneleme sırasında doğru tercihleri yaparak yazarın anlatmak istediklerini aktarabilmesi ve aksiyonu belirlemede karakter ya da olay örgüsünün öncelikli olması durumunun nasıl değiştiği sorusunu aydınlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, teorik ve uygulamanın ardından elde edilen sonuçlarının beraber değerlendirilmesiyle tamamlanmıştır.His short play named "The Bear" which was written on 1888 has shocked the audience of the time but later it has been praised. In this thesis, by referring to the play "The Bear", the action's relation to the plot and the characters as the components of the dramatic text have been examined. Surely choosing Chekhov is not a mere coincidence for this thesis. Despite the austerity of his language, Chekhov plays have been impackingly strong through out many years. His mastery over the plot, his sophisticated way of weaving of the relations among characters creates the surprise for the reader.This work consists of three sections. In first part, the elements of the play are analyzed. In second part, by referring to action, the characters' superior objectives and desires were looked upon and in the last section, the practical part of the thesis which is the process and the final outcome of the staging of the play ?The Bear?were told by building the relations to the title.In this thesis, the main objective is lightenning the right choices of the director in the process of staging in order to maintain the writer?s intentions and the change in priority between the plot and the character determining the action. The work is finalized through the evaluation on both theoretical and practical outcomes.
