The results show that firms with combined leadership structure are more diversified while firms with more independent directors are less diversified. There is a U-shaped relationship between ownership concentration and diversification. This paper extends the previous literature on SCC by proposing and demonstrating that high-SCC individuals anticipate and experience more happiness than low-SCC individuals when they share a social setting with friends and anticipate and experience less happiness than low-SCC individuals when they share a social setting with strangers and that this is because of perceived interpersonal distance. A series of four studies including both online studies and a field study support these predictions. Alternative explanations of self-esteem and self-efficacy are also ruled out. In particular, the consumption of red meat is associated with sustainability issues. Replacing meat with plant-based meat substitutes offers a useful way of reducing the burden that meat consumption places on the environment and dealing with issues regarding animal welfare. However, consumer acceptance of such products is low in some countries. The purpose of this paper is to clarify consumer attitudes toward meat substitutes and discuss them from a marketing perspective. The findings of this study, which are based on content analyses of web forums in Turkey, indicate that negative consumer perceptions can be categorized into three main dimensions: unhealthy, unusual, and tasteless. Using mainly Gerard Genette's the oretical framework and narratological concepts it can be said that Misailidis has significantly transformed Polipa this semantically especially in terms of time space and closure in then arrative. Finally this article claims that as it contains various writing strategies as well as newnarrativepossibilities Dunya is an original novel that reveals the multilingual Ottoman world and Ottoman literature in then ineteenth century.
