Abstract
Hatırla isimli uzun metraj film senaryosu, hastalığı sebebiyle her şeyi unutmaya
başlayan bir yazarın son kitabını bitirmek için gösterdiği çabayı, kendi geçmişine dönük
hatırlama sürecini ele almaktadır. Anlatımda, mizansenin temel öğelerini oluşturan
dekor, aydınlatma, kostüm, oyunculuk, makyaj gibi anlatı araçlarının ön plana çıktığı
XX. yüzyıl Alman Dışavurumcu sinemasının nitelikleri baz alınmıştır. Dolayısıyla
çalışmada önce Dışavurumcu sinemanın karakteristik özelliklerini yansıtan Dr.
Caligari'nin Karavanı, Nosferatu ve Metropolis filmleri incelenmiş; mizanseni ve
sembolik ifadeyi temel alan anlatı yapıları analiz edilmiştir. Edinilen bilgiler ışığında ise
Dışavurumcu nitelikte özgün bir uzun metraj film senaryosu yaratılmıştır. Sonuç olarak
Alman Dışavurumcu sineması üzerine yaptığım araştırma ve akabinde tamamladığım
Hatırla isimli özgün senaryo çalışması, akımın niteliklerinin etkili olduğu zaman
dilimin çok daha ötesinde bir işlevsellik taşıdığını ve dönem sineması altında yatan
felsefenin hala daha kullanılabilir olduğunu göstermiştir.
The feature film script named Hatırla, handles a writer's struggle, who is starting to forget everything because of his illness, of completing his last book and process of recalling his own past. In the narrative, narrative tools such as decor, lighting, costume, acting and make-up which constitute the basic elements of XX. century German Expressionist Cinema's characteristics were used as base. Therefore, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu and Metropolis films which reflects the characteristics of Expressionist cinema were examined in the study firstly; narration structures which grounds on mise-en-scene and symbolic expression were analysed. In the light of the information gained, an expressionist and a genuine feature film was created. As a result, my research on the German Expressionist cinema and script work I completed subsequently has shown that the characteristics of the movements bears a functionality far beyond the period of time when it was effective and that philosophy underlying the cinema of the period was still usable.
