Oyuncunun Sesinin Erotik Veçheleri

Abstract

Oyuncunun enstrümanı olan ses vücutta oluşmasıyla fizyolojik ve anatomik, ifade aracı olarak işlev görmesiyle de sosyal tanımlar kazanabilir. Sesin insanın cinselliğinin geliştiği ergenlikte değişime uğraması, ses çıkarmanın insana haz verebilecek bir eylem olması ve sesi oluşturan nefesin cinsel enerji kaynağı olarak ele alınması; sesin erotik bağlamda incelenebilmesini mümkün kılar. Oyuncunun sesinin cinselliğinin nasıl bir parçası olduğunu keşfetmesiyse onun beden kullanımını ve canlandıracağı karakterlere yaklaşımını etkileyebilir. Oyuncu için kazanımlarını tespit etmek ve beden farkındalığına yeni bir katman önermek amacıyla insan sesinin erotik veçheleri araştırılmıştır. Tiyatro, tıp, tantra, vokoloji, ses eğitmenliği, yaşam koçluğu gibi farklı alanlarda çalışan profesyonellerin, insan sesine dair çalışmaları ve görüşleri, birbirleriyle diyalog ve tartışma haline sokularak bir deneme yazısı formu elde edilmiştir. Konu ilerletilirken kişisel sahne ve hayat tecrübelerinden örnek teşkil etmeleri için faydalanılmıştır. Tez boyunca öne sürülen, araştırılan, sorgulanan ve savunulan fikirlerin uygulanabilirliği Durak ve Beyrut performansları üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Oyuncunun sesiyle ilgili çalışma yapılırken farklı disiplinlerin uzmanlıklarına başvurmanın faydaları vurgulanmış ve kuir perspektifin oyuncu eğitimi pedagojisine dahil edilmesinin önemi gerekçelendirilmiştir.

As an instrument of the actor, the voice could be described anatomically and physiologically as it is produced in the body; and socially as it is a mean of expression. The transformation of the human voice during puberty, the pleasure of making sounds and the breath’s function as a source of sexual energy make it possible to study the voice in an erotic context.The actor’s discovery of his voice as a part of his sexuality may affect his use of the body and his approach to the characters he will portray. Erotic aspects of the voice are researched for its beneficial consequences for the actor and his body awareness. The writings and opinions of the professionals working in different fields such as theater, medicine, tantra, vocology, voice instruction and life coaching are discussed in an essay form that enable them to enter into dialogue and discussion between each other. The applicability of the ideas that are explored, discussed, interrogated and defended throughout the thesis is evaluated through the performances of Durak and Beirut. The importance of acknowledging the expertise of different disciplines while studying the actor’s voice has been emphasized and the question of why the queer perspective could be included in the actor training pedagogy is answered.
