Filiz Adlı Kısa Filmin Yaratım Sürecinin, Yönetmen ve Hikaye Anlatıcı Kimliği Üzerinden Deneyimlenmesi

Abstract

Bu tez ilk aşamada, kendi kısa filmini hem yazıp hem çekmek isteyen yönetmenin; anlatacağı hikayenin ana fikrinin belirlemesinden, filmin senaryosunun sonuçlandırılması arasındaki deneyim sürecini ele almaktadır. Tez boyunca tercih edilen çalışma yöntemleri; yönetmen tarafından filmin bütünü ve bu bütünlüğü oluşturan küçük parçaları üzerine yapılan tercihler ve kısa filmin ilkeleri çerçevesinde şekillenerek oluşturulmuştur. Daha sonra bu tercihler, filmin senaryosunu yazabilmek, mizansenini yaratabilmek, filmi kavramsal boyutta ele alabilmek ve sette uygulayabilmek amacıyla analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma, kişisel gözlem ve deneyimler barındıran bir içeriğe sahip olduğundan dolayı; izlenilen yollara ve bulgulara, kesin ve doğru sonuçlar olarak bakılmamalı bunun kişisel bir yaratma süreci deneyimi olduğu göz önünde tutulmalıdır. Film ve seyirci arasında oluşan güçlü bağı kurabilme hayali ile çıkılan bu yolda; yönetmen, kurulan bu güçlü bağın anlamını hikayenin yaratım sürecinde keşfedebileceğine inanmaktadır.

This thesis originally set out to outline a director's vision to write and direct her own short film, starting from the conception of the main plot and continuing on to the experiences of the script writing process. This thesis consists of; the decision process used by the director to create a cohesive story within the generally accepted guidelines of short film writing. From there, these decisions were analyzed in order to write the script, create scenes, conceptualize the film and to implement these on set. As this thesis contains personal observations and experiences, the decisions and implementations noted therein should not be taken as definitive and final and should be taken as a personal creative process. When embarking on this creative process, the director aimed to create a strong bond between the audience and the story with the belief that this bond would be discovered throughout the conceptualization of the story.
