Abstract

Reha Erdem Sineması, Türkiye'de keşfi uzun sürecek bir yolculuğa benziyor. Erdem'in sineması elindeki malzemeyi iyi tanır. Biçimin olanaklarını, karakterin dünyası için harekete geçirir. Reha Erdem filmlerinde, ergenlik süreci, hem geçiş süreci olduğu hem de yetişkinlerin ve iktidarın dünyasıyla uyumsuz olduğu için, gelecek tahayyülleri bakımından bir imkan taşır. Ergenin isyanı, filmin dünyasında, farklı bir dünyanın varlığını da sınar. Tezin amacı, imkanın ne olduğunu ergenin bedeni üzerinden sorarak bu sorunun cevabını aramaktır.It would appear that Reha Erdem's filmmaking has embarked on long term journey. Erdem's cinema, which is conscious of the material that is used therein, ignites the possibilities of the formative elements that lead to the creation of the world of his characters. In his films, adolescence appears as a transitional phase which conflicts with the world of adults and power, and this generates potential in terms of future imaginations. The rebelliousness of the adolescent calls into question the existence of an alternative domain in the world of film. Taking up these issues, this thesis aims to question the possibility of the adolescent via his body.
